Customer Reviews
Check it out -- especially if you're hesitating
These stories, these people, are great! When I first subscribed to podcasts, I tried out all sorts of Stuff That Matters: news, financials, political debate, Science. When I found Morning Stories, I thought it was pretty small potatoes: no blaring music, no current events, no life-or-death politics! But it drew me in, I wasn't sure why. Eventually, I remembered that people, people like these, people I meet every day, they're the reason why all that other stuff matters (or doesn't). All that churn and strife is about ordinary people meeting soul to soul, or it's not about anything at all. And on Morning Stories, you meet souls openly, without hesitation or excuses. You know, I'm actually going to say it: it changed my life!
One of My "Must Have's"
I listen to a wide variety of podcasts, but if I had to unsubscribe to all but 5, this would be one of those that remained. The stories are insightful and touching, and often the dialogue that follows is as interesting as the story itself. Try a couple and see for yourself.
Short, meaningful Podcast with a heart.
If you like good writing, the oral tradition of storytelling, old time radio and a relaxed “sit down and chat awhile” approach to life -- this is it! Tony Kahn and Gary Mott do a fabulous job. They engage in a relaxed and thoughtful discussion after each story, often with the author of the story. The selection of people who tell their stories and the topics of these stories is diverse -- some are funny, some deeply moving, some clever and many are unforgettable.
