Interview – War Dogs Making it Home | Sometimes you don't really appreciate what kind of wonderful friends you have. I have known Dr. Robert Smith and Dr. Roxanne (Rocky) Roberts for over a decade. I met them at one of the trauma meetings we attended back in the '90s, if I'm not mistaken. Great folks. I had no idea that they were interested in helping veterans. Hell, we are all interested in helping veterans. The difference is that they have done something. This is a great low-cost solution that seems to be working. I'm for any solution that works and is basically drug free. The program is small, but they have already seen great results. The vets have praised this program. Check out this great program. ET show – interview with Harper’s Scott Horton | It is my pleasure to interview Scott Horton once again. He is a lawyer and writer at Harpers magazine. He is an adjunct professor at the Columbia School of Law, with an interest in international law and human rights. I talked to him about what he is doing recently and we spent a few minutes talking about Rush Limbaugh and Sandra Fluke. Scott believes that the statements that Rush Limbaugh made may actually be libelous. Horton has written extensively on Don Siegelman's ordeal. Don Siegelman is the former Democratic governor of Alabama. There are lots of bizarre issues surrounding Don Siegelman. He lost a very close election under questionable circumstances. He was indicted and convicted on some of the most nebulous pay to play charges. Both the judge and the prosecuting attorney general had significant conflicts of interest. Don Siegelman's story was on 60 Minutes. He is currently petitioning the Supreme Court to take a look at his case. Take a few minutes and listen to this fabulous interview. Enjoy. (I'd like to personally thank Scott Horton for taking time out of his busy day.) | 3/9/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Customer Reviews
'Bout Time!
Dr. Thompson provides an excellent, objective and, at times, humorous review of pertinent issues discussed by experts who are close to the issues. His interviews move along and are always with the action and timely. Dr. Thompson chooses his guests wisely and objectively always picking those who have the knowledge to speak intelligently to the topic at hand. Excellent podcasts and very informative! Whether you agree with the issue or not, the data is there. Highly recommended because, as the good doctor points out, "Everyone deserves to make an informed decision!"
