A New Yorker Environmentalist/DJ/Producer/Artist-Jaymz Nylon burst on to the global scene in 1993 with his first timeless release Ofunwa "It All Begins Here" on Tribal America. Since then he has put out a steadystream of genre-morphing productions for premiere indie labels like King Street/Nitegrooves, Eight Ball, Irma, Loveslap! and Goya/Main Squeeze. Hailed now as the godfather of Afro-tech, his music is a heady alchemy of African, Latin and jazz grooves that when woven through the technology of his machines still sound as soulful as can be.
