Podcast 24 – Podcasting Passion with Myke Hurley | On this episode of the Work Awesome podcast, outgoing Podcast Prodigy Mike Vardy chats with a man of many podcasts, Myke Hurley. Episode 18 – Jason Womack: Work Awesome Podcast | On this week's episode of the Work Awesome podcast (the first under new ownership, I might add), we start a new era. A new theme will greet listeners as they tune in, but a familiar voice can still be heard as host. I continue my journey with this site in my new role as Podcast Prodigy, and every other week the Work Awesome podcast will bring tips, tricks, interviews and more. This week, I had the opportunity to speak with Jason Womack, noted productivity expert and author. WorkAwesome Podcast: Episode 13 – Gina Trapani | WorkAwesome editor Mike Vardy had the pleasure to interview Lifehacker founding editor and highly-regarded developer Gina Trapani on this week's episode of the podcast. Gina's got a ton of projects on the go on the web, all of which are awesome in scope and in nature. She's regarded as one of the top productivity experts on the web today (one could go as for to say that her reach expands well beyond the Internet realm as well), and it was truly a privilege to have her on as a guest. Show Notes Gina discusses the reason behind starting started Lifehacker and the reason for eventually leaving the site. Why Gina believes that productivity has had (and still does have) such an appeal to so many on the Internet. Todo.txt app, Gina's self-developed task list application, is discussed. Gina gives a rundown of her daily workflow, including IRC, email and other tools she uses. What is ThinkUp? Gina spills the beans. Mike and Gina offer a requiem for the late, lamented Google Wave. The status of Gina's standing desk experiment. Apparently, Gina occasionally dances while she works. So what's on her playlist? Gina digs Gmail...she explains her reasons, what aspects of Gmail's features she uses and some of the other apps she has to keep tabs on things. There was a lot more that went down in this brief -- yet informative and entertaining -- discussion, including Gina's drink of choice and sleep habits. Announcing The WorkAwesome Podcast | Today marks the launch of our latest enhancement to the WorkAwesome site: the WorkAwesome podcast. This weekly podcast will feature tips and tricks, motivation and inspiration, reviews and interviews - and much more. Hosted by yours truly, WorkAwesome editor Mike Vardy, the aim of the podcast is to bring you some of the things we're doing at WorkAwesome in a different context - and with additional content to boot. Our inaugural podcast features an interview with Jonathan Mead, best known for his website Illuminated Mind. Good Content, Poor Production
For a podcast that titles itself with "awesome" in the name, the production quality of it does not match the title. Don't get me wrong I like the format and style and so far the guests have been great. It's just annoying as all heck that some more effort isn't put into making the podcast a bit more enjoyable and useable for the listener. The audio quality is not very good and it seems that once he brings his guest on the audio levels of the host and guest aren't even close to matching. I'm constantly having to turn the volume up and down depending on who's talking. When I haven't done that and just tried to listen I find myself missing what one of them is talking about or getting screamed at. I started listening at episode #2 and have stuck around thinking maybe he was working bugs out and still figuring out how to put the production together. If this audio problem keeps up any longer I'm bowing out. I just won't deal with messing with my ipod all the time. Oh and one more suggestion, don't call everything awesome or work that word into every question. It's seriously annoying and it greatly devalues the word (I know, I know it already is over/misused in our current.) I don't want to sound like I'm nagging but I do want to be able to listen and enjoy the podcast.
So to wrap it up, great content, great guests, audio needs lots of help, and cut down on the repetitive use of the word awesome. You are so close to having a real five star podcast :)

Workawesome.com is a terrific personal productivity blog, and after reading lots of great content, I'm delighted to be able to listen to it on their new podcast.
This is How an Interview Podcast Should Be
I try to find any management, productivity, or work related podcasts to fill my commute each day. Work Awesome has quickly began to standout at one of the very best. Mike keeps the show relaxed, but doesn't waste my time. He avoids the two things that annoy me about the majority of shows in the same market because he doesn't waste my time with useless banter and he doesn't lecture for the sake of communicating material as efficiently as possible. When I find a show like Work Awesome that can be both useful and entertaining I am a very happy commuter. Keep up the good work.
