Fun, informative broadcast network

For weather geeks and casual audiences alike, the Wunderground Broadcast Network has a little something for everyone. The hosts of the Daily Downpour are downright hilarious, and beyond their Car Talk-like schtick, they deliver fascinating commentary, interviews, and educational segments. Casual listeners and frequent jetsetters are bound to enjoy the girls of Wunder Travel, and for the more serious weather fanatic, Hurricane Haven and Wunder Weather Tech bring cutting edge science and technology to your fingertips.

Yes, the production is a bit lo-fi. But that's part of the charm.

I want to like this podcast, but.....

The Daily Downpouur is embarrassing. Joking about the Gulf oil spill,
they sound like two adolescents. Good science podcasters know how to
use humor as relief between science stories. But trying to be funny
when reporting on such a tragedy is just sad. I hope the other parts
of this collection are better. Go listen to Weatherbrains podcast to
learn how to use humor mixed with informative content, and respect
for the victims of natural and man-made catastrophes. I hope the Daily
Downpour grows up fast.

I disagree with previous review

I disagree that the show jokes about the Gulf oil spill. The Daily Downpour has done interviews with residents of the Gulf Coast and have even highlighted charitable organizations that are doing work not only along the Gulf Coast but in Haiti and elsewhere.

Take a listen and you will see that they report the most up-to-date weather information as well as report about somethings the mainstream media is reporting.

Juvenile, maybe, but out of bounds? No.
