Hours of entertainment, all for free*

This was the first YSDC podcast I ever heard. A different Cthulhu-centric podcast played a promo (I believe it was 'The Cthulhu Podcast' byt FNH) and being a wannabe role playing game gamer (No friends who played,) I was able to listen and experience tabletop RPG gaming vicariously through the podcast. Now that I have a real-life gaming group, I can do both!

The Horror on the Orient Express gameplay audio is very entertaining. The players are enjoyable to listen to and the game they play is as interesting as any audiobook you might listen to.

The audio quality is fantastic, too. The binural sound immerses you into the experience. It feels like you are sitting right at the table.

If you like Lovecraftian fiction, role playing games, or just want to be entertained, this is a fantastic podcast. It got me through many long hours at work. The best part is, once you are done with this one, there are more games to listen to, set in other places and times, with stories just as interesting as this one.

Give it a go. You're ears with thank you.

Wonderful Listen

As someone who has never played Call of Cthulhu before, I was intrigued when I found this podcast. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, as the term "audio game" has somewhat different connotations to me in particular. Nevertheless, I listened, and was captivated. The players are a joy to hear, and the story is compelling. I've not yet finished the entire series, but hope to quite soon. My only complaint is that, after I began listening to this, I felt an insatiable desire to play in a group of my own.
