An absolute masterpiece
Well, the first half of the masterpiece, that is. Clannad~After Story~ is much better, but the two go hand in hand. A MUST for ANYONE interested in anime. Even if you're into the bloody mess and stupid ninja crap, THIS is absolute BEAUTY. Heck, EVERYONE should watch it, it's that beautiful. Even if you don't like romance or drama, it is still very compelling.
It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me laugh 'til I cried!
Well, this is a pleasant surprise. : )
I noticed how new this really is. Like...THIS WEEK new... It's nice to see iTunes getting more and more good anime.
Clannad is a good show. It has the right mix of jokes and drama, and while many of the main characters grate on my nerves something fierce (I won't mention names *cough*Kyou & Nagisa*cough*) the story progresses nicely and doesn't drag as much as most shows this length and this genre often do. There is enough to keep you watching to the very last episode.
Here is another show that makes me wish I had the money to purchase it. Until I do, it's going on my wish list. Keep up the great work, iTunes! ^_~
great but...
Ok I have to say that I love this series! Made me laugh, cry, squee, etc. Only problem with this one available on iTunes...it's the dub and, quite frankly, this dubbed version is no where near as good as the subbed version, just my opinion. The voices are just not right that's all. Still a great show but the subbed episodes would have been better in my opinion.
