Description
As CSI enters its 12th season, the team is still recovering from the fallout from the Nate Haskell case several months after its completion. Ray Langston has been let go and a new CSI supervisor, D.B. Russell, played by Ted Danson, has been hired. The Las Vegas crime lab also welcomes another new addition, a young CSI from Los Angeles and Ecklie's estranged daughter, Morgan Brady. The team must build new relationships as they solve cases that include a multiple homicide on a Vegas tram and a "Strangers on a Train" type case where numerous suspects who seem to be unrelated confess to murdering a family.

Ted Danson may be what CSI needs.
Okay, we all know that CSI hasn't been doing too well since Grissom retired, but I think Ted Danson might just be what the show needs to bring it back up. I don't think it will ever come fully back up without Grissom, but I am excited to see how he does. Ted's character is funny, I'll give him that. I definitely like him, which is odd for me because I don't usually like funny characters on TV shows involving serious stuff (that's why I can't stand NCIS). I'm hoping Ted brings the show back up. I know some people will definitely tune their TVs in just because of him and his previous work, which should be helpful. And Grissom is set to return to guest star when Catherine leaves the show, so that should be a good episode. I'm excited to see what this season has to offer, and here's hoping it works out!
congrats
congrats to getting ted on csi. I have seen every show since it stated and was ready to bail at the end of last season. it was really nice to see my favorite show getting back on track. thanks for an entertaining opener!
Ted Danson, I love him but...
I'm not quite sure he is the right person for this kind of show.
I will give him a chance over the next couple of episodes but he didn't really convince me in his first one.
I'm going to update the rating accordingly.
Update: I updated my review from 3 to 4 stars because Ted Danson got better and especially funnier/more relaxed.
He needs to bring in his funny talents, this is what he can do best.
