Description

Jon Stewart takes on The Maverick for a wild and wide-ranging series of conversations in this timely new collection, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: The McCain Interviews. Through his years as one of The Daily Show’s most frequent guests, watch John McCain’s transformation from a simple Senator with a dream to a Republican Presidential Nominee with a kicking Secret Service nickname. Loose and unvarnished, irreverent and irascible, this is the McCain you’ve never seen him before.

Perfect Timing

In my opinion, McCain is our only hope in this election to avoid socialism, foster opportunity, and rebuild the strength of our country. He speaks with the great wisdom of an experienced leader and the change he wants to promote is good change - to fix problems in Washington, not to give up and become a socialist country! When Obama speaks, I get the impression he thinks we are all too stupid and lazy to thrive on our own and we should exist on government handouts and redistribution of wealth. When McCain speaks, I get the impression he thinks we can all succeed and prosper and that government should support a strong economy that fosters opportunities. I am more excited by the prospect of opportunities than of Obama's socialism. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to hear McCain speak.

I bought, I watched, I changed my vote...

to obama. This guy is seriously nuts. He is bush jr. all over again. i cant bring myself to vote for him.

Yes

At first I was not thrilled with McCain; but then I learned about how he spent 5 years in a vietnam prison camp getting tortured. They were going to let him out before other prisoners who were there longer than him, (his dad was an important person) but he chose not to. You don't hear that on the news. To me that says something about his character. Also stop complaining about Palin, she's a good person.
