Customer Reviews
A spectacular farewell to one of the greatest Doctors.
The David Tennnant specials are astounding. Not only are they only the farwell to David Tennant in his role of The Doctor, but they also signal the end of fabulous writer Russell T. Davies' writing participation in the series. Each special is its own significant work in the Doctor Who universe. They become progressively more dark and forboding from Planet of the Dead to Waters of Mars and beyond. Ultimately they will conclude with the end of this Doctor and the introduction of the next. None are to be missed. Tennant has defined this era of the role and fans of the show will miss him dearly.
He Will Knock Four Times . . .
These final episodes, which conclude David Tennant's fantastic tenure as the Tenth Doctor, cannot be missed. You must buy them all; each one contributes to the terrible coming of 'The End of Time' itself.
Water always wins, and he is returning. The Doctor's song is ending, and iTunes is the only way to have all these wonderful stories on your MP3 and computer. And trust me, that's exactly what you want to do.
The TARDIS doors are open just for you.
Knock . . . knock . . . knock . . . knock . . .
End of a Regeneration and what a great one!!!!
When Russell T. Davies met David Tennant did he know Doctor Who would change forever? Tennant's Doctor is pain wrapped in hope with a splash of Gallefreian ego. The farewell of Tennant is only half the story as Davies also steps aside. This regeneration of writing and acting styles shows the real heart of the Who idea: A never age-ing story based on purpose and science-fiction. Watch as each human companion steadly changes the homeless alien's perspective on life even with a 900+ year age and unknown lifespan. Run with the Doctor through time and space and enjoy David Tennant and Russell T. Davis Doctor Who curtain call. Thank you Mr. Davies for bringing back our childhood hero. Thank you Mr. Tennant for raising the bar so high. You are my Doctor (which makes Pertwee second now) Thanks!!!!
