New Beginnings
The premiere couldn't have been better. To make a 5 year jump on a TV show for good is risky and take notes television writers, Desperate Housewives did it right. Sure, it wasn't perfect but it delivered in creating all new story lines and interest in what's to come. I've never been this excited for a new season of Desperate Housewives as I am now. Bree is back to her old ways like in Season One. And poor Katharine has to take the brunt of it, but she's well equiped to keep Bree on her toes. Lynette has changed the least and also has her relationship with Tom. It's her kids that have had the biggest transformation. They're attractive, popular, rebelious 16 year olds that got put in their place right from the start. Gabby may look different but she is the same old Gabby. She's still coniving and is quick in thinking of ways to manipulate others to get her way...even her kids! Susan. My oh my. I was never a big fan of hers but right of the bat the new confidence Teri Hatcher portrays through her is amazing. I'm curious about what unfolded with her and Mike. Edie is the same Edie. But now she brought along a new husband and the new mystery. Who does he want to get revenge on? One of the ladies? One of the husbands? Or revenge on all of them? Sundays can't come soon enough!
IMPORTANT iPod INFORMATION
....can't wait for the new season...it's going to be awesome.... and for the guys who say that they can't play the Starter Kits on the iPod: YOU DEFINITELY DOWNLOADED THE HD VERSIONS AND THEY WON'T PLAY ON THE iPOD. SO JUST DOWNLOAD THE NORMAL VERSION AND IT'LL WORK....so stop complaining yourselves....it's annoying...
Another Amazing Show Returning This Fall!
Desperate Housewives is one of my favourite shows and always provides quality, humor and drama. I'm worried yet excited to find out how the '5-year leap' pans out but I'm sure the housewives will deliver once more. One question, why is it so cheap? $24.99 for a full season? That's just over $1 an episode! I'm not complaining but I just think this show deserves more.
