Coming from a teen soap opera hag, this is awesome news!
They've finally released this show digitally on iTunes- as soon as I heard about this, I purchased the season right away and have already spent the weekend watching all the episodes! It really brought me back to age 12-14- this was MY show, right up there with Saved By the Bell, 90210, Melrose Place, etc. It's so nice to watch these episodes in high quality for the first time in years, though two episodes have *some* bad tape quality for about five seconds during the opening credits. No big deal though, just some poor remastering, I suppose. As far as the cheese factor and acting ability, take it with a grain of salt. The demographic for this show was definitely for the tweens. However, this show is chock full of drama! I wish they'd release subsequent seasons- Arseman was my favorite character on the entire series, along with Courtney, Stacy, and Roxsnne! Let's pray it happens! :D
So very happy now!
I used to watch this all the time on T.V. and loved it so very much. I always wanted to have it because it was so awesome but only had the memories of it. Now again I can be very happy and watch all of the episodes all over again almost 10+ years later! Seeing my favorite characters (Brooke, Ashley, Matt, and all of the others) really is a treat. I really hope that they release the rest of the seasons... because it is that awesome of a show! :)
reliving my youth
