DR. CAL LIGHTMAN (Tim Roth) is the world’s leading deception expert. By analyzing facial expressions and involuntary body language, he can read feelings ranging from hidden resentment to sexual attraction to jealousy. Lightman heads a team of experts at The Lightman Group who assist federal law enforcement, government agencies, local police and private individuals with their most difficult cases. Lightman’s professional partner DR. GILLIAN FOSTER (Kelli Williams) is a gifted psychologist who brings balance to the team by looking at the bigger picture while Lightman focuses on the details. He needs her guidance and insight into human behavior, whether he knows it or not. Season 3 of LIE TO ME focuses on testing the relationships and dynamics of The Lightman Group, as a wedge is driven between Lightman and Foster, creating devastating consequences for the group’s future.

Another great show cancelled
Seriously Fox? You have on of the best modern day actors on your show. The writing was phenomenal and you can't promote it enough to add a forth season? This was one of my top 5 favorite shows. It was up there with House, Life (cancelled), Southland, Sons of Anarchy and Rescue Me. I hope they figure out a way to keep that reality crap off the air and bring back some great dramas.
Still in Shock
This is an amazing AMAZING show. Absolutely love Lie to Me, it was a definte highlight of my week..... until Fox cancelled it. I am still in shock that FOX cancelled Lie to Me and added another show similiar to Bones. I used to like Bones until the 4 season brought corny lines and stupid story lines.
I highly highly recommend the show, based soley on the show, but I don't know if I recommend watching it. You'll only fall in love with it just to be disappointed and confused on why Fox even cancelled it.
My blood still boils when I think about it.
Never watching another Fox show again.
Who makes the decisions at Fox?
It's Family Guy, Firefly, Dollhouse, etc all over again. Another well-written, intelligent, and entertaining show with a great cast cancelled. Good job Fox. Way to kill another wonderful series.
