Marvelous, simply marvelous

Parents buy this for your kids but don't be surprised if you find yourself enjoying it as much or more than them. The characters are entertaining the writing and visual humor is top notch. It's a tremendously charming show and every kid should see it.

Admiral Ackbar Says:

"Our masculinity cannot repel weaponized cuteness of that magnitude!"
From the contemporary, child-friendly antics, to the very well-defined characters, to the refreshingly modern non-anime art style, it is astounding to think that a franchise based entirely on the consumer purchasing power of the 4-year-old girl (not to be underestimated!) could spawn an animated series with such well-structured storytelling and eloquent writing. Not having seen any examples of whatever MLP cartoons there may have been before this, I can safely say that I had never seen any personal value in the brand due to the Y-chromosome in my DNA.
While the character interactions, plot lines and integration of moral lessons can be entirely predictable most of the time (for us jaded adults), and despite a few cringe-endusing empathetic moments of embarrassment, MLP:FiM has honestly and truly won me over as a show that not only touches upon the very heart of social interaction and conflict resolution and their importance in our everyday lives, but does so in an entertaining and engaging way, something that has been on a rapid decline in our society in recent years with the advent of impersonal social communication via text messaging and "social" networking tools on the web.

Yes, I'm A Brony

I have watched every episode so far and I have not been disappointed yet. I loved the classic My Little Pony show, and this just makes it even better. Pinkie Pie is ditzy and musical. One reason to watch it is her alone. Her singing about Cupcakes is probably one of the funniest ones. Fluttershy, the shy little animal lover. Just a wonderful character. Applejack, one of my favorites, is strong willed and a hard worker. Rainbow Dash, my favorite, is the one to be all around in it for the fun. Twilight is the one who is new to Ponyville and is learning about friendship. She's a little socially awkward at times. Rarity the beauty queen, she's the Paris Hilton of ponies. Spike, the dragon, is aboslutely one of the best characters in the series. He's obnoxious and lazy, but he is so funny.
Being an adult, or just a child, you will love this. It will bring you back to your childhood as it did me.
