fall down go boom
It is almost shocking to see this show's quality level drop so precipitously from season 1 to season 2. It's time for the Zweibel family to bring back the shackled slaves who gave us season 1 if they are still alive. The funny passive-aggressive Brooke of season 1 has turned into the aggressive-aggressive unfunny Brooke of season 2. No wonder Tom Pynchon dumped her. Really the only character that is as funny as season 1 is Michael Faulk. The Zweibels need to bring back the Dave-Meister, America's first openly drunk congressman--especially this year of all years, as he may have been the only congressman with a shred of dignity remaining. Another good turn came from Katie and Meghan who were guests on Today Now! and spent the whole time gossiping about their classmates. Other than that, there is not much that is memorable in season 2 and much to scratch my head over. I now have to think whether season 3 will really be worth it.
