Description
A group of courageous pioneers face a unique opportunity: the chance to build a new and better future on another planet. Led by President Tate and his core team of Stella, Cass and Fleur, they settle on Carpathia alongside expeditionaries Mitchell and Jack. Living in the town of Forthaven, the Outcasts are passionate about their jobs, confident of their ideals and optimistic about the future. Although as they continue to work and live together, they come to realize that this is no ordinary planet. Mystery lurks around them and threatens the fragile peace of Forthaven. Check it out!
Reminds me of a short lived series called "Earth 2", but this series is far more interesting. Great characters and story. Too bad it's been canceled, but I will continue to watch all 8 episodes.
Great Show
Outcasts is a great show. Well cast and excellent character development. The plot flows extremely smooth and the stories behind the characters personal interactions serves only to enhance the already sturdy plot. My favorite part is the already established relationships that make you feel connected to them from the first seconds of the series. The writers do a good job of concluding each episode while leaving the right amount up in the air to keep viewers coming back for more. Shame it was cancelled. Hope this goes the way of Firefly / Serenity and we get a movie explaining more of the story and tying up any loose ends.
New first episode and storyline
This first story is very good and in fact is so good that you might not believe it is a science fiction story. While is not overly endowed with action the sets, chereography, sound, writing and direction are excellent. I am looking forward to future episodes. The first episode leaves a lot of unanswered questions which I hope will be answered in future episodes. I have to say that this is definitely worth your time. Buy or rent this today!
