Description
This collection includes animated adaptations of the Superman: Red Son comic book, bundled into twelve episodes that place Superman and his nefarious villains in the Soviet Union instead of the United States. This Motion Comics series mixes alternate versions of DC super-heroes and villains with alternate-reality versions of real political figures such as Joseph Stalin and John F. Kennedy, spanning the years 1950-2000.

cool!
The last reviewer clearer didn't understand this was not an animated series but a "motion comic". so taking frames from the book and making them "wiggle a bit" is exactly what it is supposed to be. As long as you know that going in, it is pretty cool! This is somewhat better than the Watchmen motion comic only in that they got different voices for the characters, as opposed to the single narrator (so thankfully the women don't like pre-op transvestities). I think these new motion comics are pretty rad and I can't wait for more! Dark Knight Returns anyone??
An exciting translation of a great Superman Elseworlds series
Ive really enjoyed these motion comics from Batman and Watchmen, and this one looks just as good. If you have read the books you know whats to come and I will definitely be getting the entire season. I hope they continue to make more of these. To the reviewer who rated this a one star just because he couldnt download the free episode. You could have just waited until it was available, free or pay. How self-centered do you have to be to mark something down when you havent even seen it.
It's a MOTION COMIC, not animation.
This is not an animated cartoon, it's a motion comic, like the Batman Black/White series and the Mad Love one they did before. Remember kids! Read before you download!
