Description
The Good Wife is a drama starring Julianna Margulies as a wife and mother who boldly re-enters the workforce after her husband's very public sex and political corruption scandal lands him in jail. Alicia Florrick starts over by pursuing her original career as a defense attorney. As a junior associate at a prestigious Chicago law firm, she joins her longtime friend, former law school classmate, and firm partner Will Gardner, who is interested in rekindling their former relationship. Alicia finds an ally and a friend in Kalinda, the firm's tough and mysterious in-house investigator. Alicia transforms herself from embarrassed politician's scorned wife to resilient career woman. Now that Peter is back home and planning to run for office again with help from Eli Gold, his cunning image consultant, Alicia continues to redefine herself and her role in her family's life.

Don't judge a tv show by it's name!
If you've passed up the show "The Good Wife" based on the name (both men and women), every Tuesday you're missing out.
I rarely watch TV, although highly suggest starting with Season 1 ... watch every episode and you'll quickly join the growing fan base.
God, this show is good.
Thoughtful, funny, frustrating, sexy.
The Good Wife is back
Returning for its sophmore year, The Good Wife is just as powerful and amazing as before. In this season, there is going to be a lot more drama and character development. Unlike other crime shows, this is almost like the behind the seen portion of a murder/crime trial. The characters are orginal, as are the stories. There is nothing on television that is quite like this.
