Customer Reviews
A great series.
To start, I think what I like most about this series is the length of the episodes. They vary from about three to eight minutes, so I was able to watch every episode that's come out so far in one weekend! Also, the characters are really funny, and I actually find the main character, Codex (Felicia Day who played Penny in Dr. Horrible), to be very likable and funny. That goes for the other characters too. Basically, this show is a parody of typical Internet gamers and the guilds that they can create on MMORPGs like World of Warcraft. It deals with the lives (personal and in-game) of the members of the Knights of Good guild in an unnamed MMO (usually assumed to be World of Warcraft). Felicia Day definitely knows what she's doing here because she herself was (and if I'm not mistaken, still is) a gaming addict.
All in all, a hilarous series that many can relate too!
Legendary Series!
If you're just coming into this show like I did after watching their hilarious music video "Date My Avatar", you're in for a geeky treat. Felicia Day is well known as one of the most technologically adept and geek friendly actresses of our age, and through her production, writing, and acting in this show she definitely proves her worth! The rest of the actors are also excellent as well, each bringing their own quirks to each of their geekily wonderful characters. This season finds Codex with a love interest in her apartment complex and Zaboo trying to prove his love to her by taking on the "quest" of bettering himself. Hilarity ensues especially when Bladezz and Tink find each other at odd's ends. If you're a geek or just a geek at heart, you'll love The Guild!
About the confusion
to anyone who may be confused about why there are only four episodes listed in season 1 and six listed in season 2, they are set up so that each "episode" on itunes is two or three actual episodes put together. notice: it says "link the loot" - "block'd" for episode one. that means that the first three episodes are compiled into one itunes episode. i was confused at first, so i just though i'd explain. but anyway, it's a great show and everyone should buy it, especially at this low price.
