Description
Pittsburgh, 1975. Edward Borman, a lowly government office drone, finds himself trapped when the deadly men of Mercury seize his office building as a staging ground for their nefarious plot. Aided by Jack Yaeger, a daring aerospace engineer from a mysterious organization known as "The League," Edward must stop the invaders and their doomsday device, the Gravity Engine.

Fun and brilliant!
Action, suspense, cool mythology...in other words... good sci-fi!
Fun, charming, and surprisingly compelling
I found this show online and watched every episode back to back. It was addictive. After that I came over here to iTunes and didn't even hesitate to buy it. For this price it's a GREAT value. The acting isn't great, and the office building setting looks kind of cheap in the beginning. (It reminds you that this is a low-budget series, unfortunately.) But the cinematography, the writing, and of course the LOOK of it keeps you invested. And EVERY aspect just improves as the series progresses. By the time I got to the end of Part 2, it really felt like I was watching a Hollywood movie and I was completely hooked. If you liked Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow, you're pretty much guaranteed to like this. And especially if you DIDN'T like Sky Captain because you felt like it didn't deliver, then this may be the series for you. What do you have to lose, a few bucks? Risk putting a smile on your face and just go for it. (If you're still not convinced, just look at their website, mercuryseries.com, and check out the digital props.)
