Description
These animated shorts are products of their time. Some of them may depict some of the ethnic and racial prejudices that were commonplace in American society. These depictions were wrong then and are wrong today. While the following does not represent the Warner Bros. view of today's society, these animated shorts are being presented as they were originally created, because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed.

I know I mentioned this earlier, but people should really stop complaining. These are being offered for $0.99 cents each! Most songs on iTunes are worth that much (or even more). Plus, for those of you who believe they should be doubled up, they would have to charge more for the extra cartoon (not that it's a BAD idea to put two Tom & Jerry shorts together...). I get that you want these to be $0.69 cents, and that DOES make sense, but at least be thankful they aren't $1.99 each (*cough* Bugs Bunny *cough*).
On a side note, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Mouse is my favorite Tom and Jerry episode (where the tables are turned and Jerry overpowers Tom). Look at that if you have the chance.
Tom and Jerry
To all the people complaining about the price of $1 per episode, it's not that expensive. Also if you buy them all at once like *cough me *cough, then you only pay $0.65 an episode. Thank you iTunes for finally uploading these. The only one missing from vol. 1 and vol. 2 (that I really want and hope it's in vol. 3) is Cat Concerto. It's my all-time favorite. :)
