Description

Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded 650 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced the addition of over 80 beloved Pokémon among several other new features.

Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered!
Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the prestige and ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side.

Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away!

Search far and wide for Pokémon and items
Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops, found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments, to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items.

Catching, hatching, evolving, and more
As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger.

Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym
As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers.

It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await!

Niantic are killing this game.......

Yeah Niantic are kind killing this game but by bit, now banning their most dedicated players that actually make in game purchases by accusing people of cheating and "shadowbanning" accounts of paying legitimate players who dare used an Iv calculator that is also available on the App Store.....if we are not allowed to use an Iv checker app why are they available to download on the Apple Store?? Niantic can't stop the hackers and third parties apps so they lock on and punish the people who made them millions of dollars, the players.....great work attacking your own customers Niantic....hope Nintendo and the Pokémon company revoke your license and take over the game themselves.....it might actually be fun and successful again.........here's an idea stupid Niantic.......realise and Iv calculator and map that works yourselves and sell it for $2......you will take in millions, the 3rd party apps will disappear and then you can stop beating up on your own fans and ensure a better game experience 😂 not rocket science......

Casuals not welcome.

I have been played Ng since day dot and I hit level 26. I use it on walks and give it to kids in the car. But I'm not even close to being a contender in gym battles. My best is snorlax 2354cp. The gym leaders are 3000+. Since gym battles are the only way to earn coins my deck is full and bags over loaded. Just by coins I hear you say. Yes I could and have done that. But that still dose not help with being locked out of the game. Not only that. Gym battles are the most boring part of the game. Trying to take out a 10 person gym with only 6 Pokémon can actually take a few hours and that's if your of equal combat power. I don't know how people have the time to be so much higher in level. But I'm at a point where I can't continue to play. With is sad.

Drop rate of uncommon Pokémon and Evolution Stones needs to be increased.

The inception of the 7-day streak to reward players with a random type of evolution stone is a great initiative to ensure players must login and visit a pokestop each consecutive day. The bad part however, is that you are not rewarding those players to spend the time to catch and walk kms for the more rare types, only to have a horrible drop rate for the evolution stones they require to evolve.

The Metal Coat appears to have a much more significant drop rate than any other item, and needs to be levelled out. After 4 consecutive weeks of 7-day streak rewards being a Metal Coat, the moral and willingness to bother playing the game on a regular basis is severely lacking.

Lastly, there needs to be a higher accuracy created for the more uncommon and/or rare type Pokémon visible on the Sightings radar. I work in the CBD of WA's capital city, and walk regularly during lunch, yet have not even many of the rare or uncommon types even listed as sightings.
There's only so many Natu, Murcrow, Sperrow, Ratatta that someone can bother catching during a 1hr walk before they don't bother anymore.
