We exist so you can travel more, retire sooner, and live a more balanced life.
A reloadable card and app with real-time insights into your spending and saving.
No fees. Instant Updates. Real humans answering your questions.
As a user you earn instant 0.5% cash back on all purchases, and benefit from one of the lowest foreign transaction fees in the industry —1.5%— when you travel.
With KOHO you can set a savings goal and then let us automate your daily contributions. We’ve also introduced RoundUps so that with every purchase you can choose to round-up to the nearest $1, $5, or $10 and save bit by bit without needing to think about it!
Using KOHO doesn’t affect your credit score, and your money is held by Peoples Trust, a federally recognized financial institution.
KOHO doesn’t make money off you, we make money on the interchange fees that merchants are already paying. By showing you instantly where your money is going, KOHO helps you take control of it (without skimming any off the top).
Sign up in minutes and receive a new KOHO Visa card within 10 days.
We have the sweetest user support team in the world (probably). Reach out to us in-app or by email at email@example.com.

Still no Quebec support
They clearly don't care about that part of the country. Full transparency or not, other banks have done the right thing to include Quebec (like Alterna who opened very recently) but Koho only care about the English part of the country and they've put in the back Burner just like Mojo Bank before them. On twitter, all they do is talk about how great a Canadian business they are. If they were, they would include ALL Canadians
Hey there, we are available in Quebec. Have a great day!
Koho is a FANTASTIC AWESOME FINANCIAL SERVICE THAT PROVIDES FREE EVERYTHING INCLUDING E-TRANSFERS & HAS A OPTION FOR DIRECT DEPOSIT LOAD RIGHT FROM YOUR EMPLOYER. Once you sign up you’ll receive a FLASHY PLATINUM LOOKING BLACK VISA CARD that have EMBOSSED LETTERING. Makes it look like a real CREDIT CARD. THE ONLY THING THAT I’D LIKE FOR KOHO TO ADD IN THE FUTURE... IS A PRE-AUTHORIZED DEBIT/BILL FORM to make paying bills even more CONVENIENT. And Another idea, Would be if KOHO provided a 2nd KOHO VISA CARD OPTION
(maybe name it the KOHO PLATINUM ELITE) WHERE IT’S SECURED BY YOUR OWN FUNDS & KOHO THEN REPORTS TO THE CANADIAN CREDIT BUREAUS.... I’d even be open to a ANNUAL FEE FOR THAT CARD!!!!

Hey there! Thanks so much for your awesome review of Koho. We're so stoked to hear that Koho's working out well for you! There are several features that are currently in the works, so more to come on that, but you're more than welcome to share your feature requests on our public roadmap: http://bit.ly/KohoRoadmap Thanks again!
This is a great service. All the negative reviews are clearly from people who don’t understand what Koho is. The same people give SiriusXM a bad review because it has a paid subscription.
Thanks for your kind words, Travis :) Greatly appreciate your continued support!
