Ratings and Reviews
The app seemed great when it first came out, saving money on bus tickets, yes please! Shortly after, the app started crashing and messing up when I was trying to get the ticket up before I got on the bus, once this happened and I explained the issue to the bus driver but he refused to let me on until the app was working! Then came the crash in the summer where everyone was having issues working the app, it proved a very unreliable way to get to work. Although the company were sending emails out so everyone was aware with the problems and drivers were more lenient with allowing you on the bus regardless of your ticket working.
Recently issues have arisen yet again, it won’t allow me to buy any tickets on the app because ‘the product is no longer for sale’, which means I have to spend a extra £1.10 per journey by buying a paper ticket (my only option). But I haven’t got any emails about this so I’m guessing it’s just mine that’s messing up. Also I’m disappointed by the fact I emailed customer services around a week ago regarding the problem and haven’t received any recognition. What a load of rubbish!!
This app is hit or miss. I need a year pass for college and this decided that the easiest way to achieve getting one would be via the app. The problem is, sometimes it just doesn’t work. I’ve read reviews where. People at least get emailed about the problem and drivers are informed about the situation however I’ve received no such email and have no idea why my ticket works occasionally but not at other times. Occasionally it crashes only for me to be yelled at by a driver that tells me I should’ve prepared by keeping the ticket open on my phone as I see the bus coming. What said driver does not know is that I did that but the ticket crashed leaving me awkwardly fumbling to get the ticket open which sometimes does not even work as it just doesn’t show up in the bought items of the app. The convenience of having the app of my phone is great however it can unfortunately be overshadowed by the garbage that comes along with it.
Customer service lacking
I’ve used this app for several years now as it saves me a huge chunk in travel expenses getting to/from work, it occasionally lags but I’ve never had any major problems until now.
After leaving work I try to open the app to use my tickets only to get a message saying the app had been blocked and to contact customer services. I did this after finally getting home and the only answer they gave me was that it was blocked due to a dispute over a chargeback. Since this reply I’ve had no further communication from them even though I have asked for further explanation on this. I’m very confused over this since after checking my bank account I have confirmation that all tickets bought on the app have indeed been paid for, I have even sent evidence of this to them. But as yet the app is still blocked so it will be deleted and I guess I’m going to have to start cycling to work as its the only affordable option left.
