New Update is Bad

The update has brought a problem . I had registered four mobile numbers three of which are in my name and one in one of my family members . I used to follow the usage etc of these numbers on my mobile device. After the update these numbers have vanished and updated version is not allowing their re-registration. When I try to do this a message flashes “these are in secondary list”. But this list is nowhere to be found. Not even in Your Account. Chat with support also stated look into My Account tab. There is no My Account tab. We can see only Your Account. No one is there to resolve this issue. Secondly, every time we open the app , we have to face their announcements regarding their products. Why must we made to suffer these. Just because we are using VODAFONE APP.

The new update is not good at all.


Alright. Let me get this straight!
The details of my current pack is not getting refreshed at all. Whenever I open the app to check my data usage, it shows me the data usage when I was using it 4 days back, not for today. To get my current details, I have to uninstall the app, install it again, follow the procedure again with OTP and then I’m able to see it. So, everytime I have to check my usage, I have to follow the same procedure. And it’s not just about the data usage, everything in it including call minutes, sms sent, roaming, etc. is back dated when I had re-installed the app. This is so frustrating. If you care enough, please do something about it. I’m sure I’m not the only one facing this issue.

What matters in an app like this


Let me get this straight with pointers so you guys at Vodafone are clear about the app that you have built.

1. UI/UX: Pathetic. Just plain worst that I can expect from a multi-billion dollar enterprise. But yes, UI may be subjective and some people in your research might have liked it (though I’d say they have got a poor taste)

2. App Freezes: Trust me, you have made an app whose performance is as bad as its look and feel. It keeps freezing over good Wifi and also 4G networks. And please don’t give explanations like RAM utility. It’s an iPhone 7 and low RAM is not it.

3. Services: Now your core offering is your service and not this pathetic app. So let me give you a break - it’s good in most places. But you still have bad coverage in remote areas. Internet speed when I visit places like Assam has never been more than 1 Mbps.

Bottomline: It’s very annoying to have app freezes and crashes and bad UI/ UX. It’s even more annoying to have all of them together. So here’s a genuine feedback for you to care (or not). I am soon moving away from the Voda app for bill payments. That’s all from my end.
