Description
Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded 650 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced the addition of over 80 beloved Pokémon among several other new features.
Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered!
Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the prestige and ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side.
Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away!
Search far and wide for Pokémon and items
Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops, found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments, to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items.
Catching, hatching, evolving, and more
As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger.
Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym
As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers.
It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await!

Better than I expected
Update: all below still true. I miss the single use incubators at stops.
Admittedly I was one of those that was going to be too cool to play this game. I had never gotten in to Pokémon when I was younger, why start now? After some convincing from a friend since I apparently have a Pokémon infestation at my house and a local shopping center with a plethora of stops I gave it a try. I do like it much more than I expected and I love that it gets kids and families outside playing together. My only real gripes are that once you collect the ones in your area it kinda looses its luster for me. I played every day for the first few weeks but after I caught an evolved all the ones in my area I found it less exciting to open the game. While traveling however I did pick it back up again and enjoyed it I was finding new ones not near me. The other main reason I gave it 3 stars is because I think it's silly to pay really money for an incubator that expires. Should be able to at least get one more infinity one if you are investing really money. Over all worth playing and checking out interested to see where it goes from here.
It was bad at first but now it's good
When Pokémon Go first came out it wasn't very good and had a lot of problems with it, but now it's a good app and I enjoy playing it, the only thing I have that could make it better is if once you unlocked a new type of ball, you could then buy it in the shop for an increased price than the normal poke balls, and the price increase could be how much better than the poke ball is at catching so the great ball would cost 1.5 times as much as the pokeball and the ultra ball would cost twice as much, I'm only at level 18 because I don't live in an area with pokestops that are within 10 minutes walking distance from my house, so I can only get great balls from leveling up and you can only buy pokeballs in the shop. Also since ditto is kind of random when you catch a Pokémon, someone looking for a ditto would need to catch everything they come across but instead if something is a ditto, you could give it the Ditto face instead of a normal face, other than that, this is a great game and I am eagerly awaiting for Gen 3 to be added
Awesome app but needs some changes.
Come on don't make our bags full so that we have to pay money. Also the hatching the egg thing I have concluded is impossible unless the person pays money. Also what's the point of having a buddy if they can't walk with you? I would love my buddy to walk beside me on the screen or at least be on my shoulder (avatar shoulder)
Don't make things impossible so that you get paid. Come on you have plenty of money don't be greedy. Make it only a bonus if we bought stuff in your store, not something we have to do in order to do good in the game.
Also one other thing. It takes too long to evolve Pokémon. I was one of your first players and I only have one or two that are evolved. Please make it about 10 candy for each Pokémon to evolve. Also at the poke stop how about candy for Pokémon? Wouldn't that encourage people to go to them? We have plenty of poke balls and potions. Thanks for reading this and I hope you consider everything I said & what other people have said. Thank you.
