Customer Reviews

I haven't heard from Mark in three days.

Lots of issues. I'll get a "message from Mark," then the game will say Mark is unavailable. This lasts for hours until he finally comes back for two minutes. Then he's gone again and I'm left wondering if I should trust the next notification. This app has given me trust issues.
Also, the dialogue choices, for the most part, don't impact anything. There are one or two important choices, while the rest are basically saying the same thing. I might as well be reading the book, which I spent less money on than this app.
One last thing: I apparently made him go deaf in the game, but he still talks about listening to music... however that works. It's also aggravating that the app requires you to google or flip through the book to find the correct answers to some of his questions. Why not provide the answers in messages from NASA?? Am I the only human capable of looking something up?
Also, there's no option to flirt with Mark. C'mon now. He's played by Matt Damon.
If you're obsessed with the book and movie like me, by all means, buy this app. Just expect lots of issues and be committed. If you're just looking for something casual to play, I can direct you to Pokémon GO.

Pretty nifty little game

The "Mark" in this game sounds a lot like the guy I. The film, it's hilarious what he says about the astronaut who was marooned in Interstellar- "that guy was a real A-Hole!"

Pretty easy so far if you have followed the book or the movie, basically you just pick the answer that makes the most sense. Sometimes you will have to have read the incoming messages to get the right answer. I was tempted to give "Mark" a deliberate wrong answer, but I think the script would have just corrected me.

It is a lot like lifeline I'll give you that. It's just that style of game. I like this better though.

Better than Lifeline

At first I thought it would be another disappointing copy of Lifeline, but after playing a little bit I like it much more. The main character of Lifeline was whiny, annoying, unintelligent and did not make me interested in his survival at all. I also didn't like the interface of it. However, this game is different. In a good way. I like the interface and layout of this game. I also like so far how the character seems funny and interesting, despite his predicament. Thus, great first impression. Not sure if the rest will be good but, so far so good.
