Bad iPad app
I am not impressed with your recent software app. After upgrading, it duplicated all my QuickBooks entries for the past 3 months. That took a morning to fix. On both the computer and mobile versions, the credits and debits are in the same column. This is a bit confusing sometimes, especially in the iPad version where you have two thirds of the screen area devoted to the name of the account while the actual financial info is squashed into one third of the space. Also, the iPad version is horizontal only. When I sign in I have to have it in the vertical position to use my fingerprint and then turn it around to view my info. BAD DESIGN.
Also, in the past two years, I have called your help line twice. In both cases i spoke to a very pleasant person who knew nothing about my problem and told me that I had to be directed to a higher level technician who would call me back. Never happened. BAD SERVICE
Why were we forced into this new app?
From a user perspective, the old app worked great. Did everything you needed - deposit checks, see balances - with a minimum of hassle
This new app is almost indistinguishable from the old one but, being new, is buggy. One specific example- it causes your device to vibrate whenever you capture an image for mobile deposit making it REALLY difficult to get a clear image. Why??? Not thought through; to be expected from a new app, sure, but just an unnecessary hassle for users.
No upgrades from the user perspective (what more do we need from a banking app other than the ability to check balances and mobile deposit checks? There’s no room for improvement here, just leave it alone) so I hope there was some magic on the back-end or from a security perspective that needed to happen to necessitate forcing the switch to the new app.
Your old system had some great features that were lost and your new one has great ones introduced.
To have to tap the little button or area to write the amount is so strange. It isn’t a button or a box. Please put the very first feature is to type in the dollar amount, and as you have it, no decimal entry required.
I love the auto picture take. But to get that endorsement warning in between, makes me have to tap with my nose or take time from flipping check. Please put ONE quick notice at the beginning to ENDORSE CHECKS with for mobile deposit. Just once, when you select deposit check. And be done with it.
Once pics are both taken, the swipe feature is great, except when occasionally, being an iPhone, it flips apps instead of confirming by swipe. Maybe just a confirm button.
Your app is actually fantastic aside from the endorsement fiasco. I gave low stars because I didn’t know I could leave a review. Will increase next time. Especially if features corrected or implemented.
