No back button
I have one huge complaint with this app. The in App Store browser has no back button. You can see the directories that lead to this hat, but they don’t necessarily coincide with how you got there. For instance if I take the time to apply a bunch of filters to find hats to suit my needs, I end up with about 600 pages of hats I’d like to browse. As soon as I click one, o cannot get back to my filtered list. My options are “back to the app” which leaves the store all together, or my directory listing; ie “men’s/headwear/fitted/mlb/nationals”. So I can navigate back to any of those subsections, none of which go along with my “hats only flex fit or 7-3/8 under $25” filters. I’m sorry but it keeps me update but the app is useless for shopping unless you already know exactly what you want.
worst customer service & online sales
it’s weird, it says it’s the lids app but it redirects to lids app/website when you want to shop .. I guess it’s an app inside an app, .. just don’t hit the big top left back button, or you just lose your search and start all over again ... they have a few tweaks to fix, it’s just taking them longer to figure out there is even a problem in the first place , the worst customer service, returns and everything in the middle, ordered a hat online that’s in every store, it’s been a month and still no hat, it shows complete, but fedex still hasn’t picked up the package from them ... I’m still waiting for them to release a previous refund since they didn’t have the product, it’s been almost 2 months and nothing .. I’m done with this sleazy company..
Not sure why the rating is so low
I love lids, the rewards program is awesome. Brand new $32 snap backs for $26, best you can get for New era & Mitchell & Ness. But this is about the app so let’s talk about that. The app makes it pretty smooth to navigate from your team(s) to all of the clearance items, easy checkouts. The only 1 thing is it’s difficult sometimes to go back, sometimes it doesn’t save your place when you want more info of an item & then back out. All in all it’s very solid.
