Never forget that one thing at the store again!

Caramel is your grocery shopping companion that makes it breeze to get in and out of the grocery stores, and just generally keeping you sane.

Make a list for everything you need: Store lists for each of your trips and for those special occasions far off from now. Quickly sort and organize your lists, keep recurring lists, and save items with notes and quantities so you don't need to remember those pesky details later.

Keep your Recipes together: Quickly create lists from recipes or add items to the next shopping trip. You’ll never forget how to make that special meal you like again by keeping track of steps and leaving notes for yourself.

Caramel includes wide variety of features, growing by the day:

- Multiple Lists with quick list management
- iPad and Multitasking Support
- Supports latest iOS features (Haptics! 3D Touch!)
- iCloud support for mindless backup and sync
- A big, beautiful UI that adopts to all iOS devices as expected
- Siri Integration for making and editing lists

What's New

Version 1.2.2

I am back from a hiatus! I really appreciate the patience and don’t worry, Caramel is still in motion. So what’s changed in 1.2.2?

Default List + Open to List:
You can select your default list, which will be the selected item for your Today widget and Siri commands if you don't specify which.

By default on iPad (when full screen), Caramel now opens to your Default List and through the new settings panel, you can toggle “Open to List” which will have Caramel open to your picked list when on iPhone or collapsed-mode on iPad. (Thanks for the suggestion, Kenny!) These options will be synced across your devices if you have iCloud enabled.

Today Widget, iCloud Updates:
The Today widget has been rebuilt from nearly the ground up to be more stable, take advantage of default lists, and react better to changes in the app. It is also getting iCloud access so changes are pushed to iCloud without needing to open the app afterwards - this went unnoticed for awhile on my end and is still a work in progress, so stay tuned here. This feature will be expanded to Siri as soon as it’s entirely stable.

Pick-Up Section, Unsorted Item Updates:
Unsorted items are now at the bottom of list, instead of the top. The "move to pick-up section” functionality has been updated, too; it was rewritten to make more sense and be more accurate when working with multiple devices across the cloud and extensions and prevent weirdness. It feels gooddddd.

She won’t ask you to confirm when you add things to lists each time anymore, the only exception if is there is more than one potential list. This should make the process of adding items through her much much smoother. There are also a few other minor improvements related to her interaction that should make using a HomePod or hands-free much easier.

New Default Items:
Internally, the default items catalog had a nice little update to make updates safer and faster. About 20 new items were added, with more coming in a future update.

Small Improvements and Bug Fixes:
This is related to the delay: There was an extensive amount of bug fixes to be rolled out and it took awhile to throughly test them. The worst were related to data loss with iCloud (which have been completely nipped!) and needed rigorously testing: I wanted to be sure because _that would BE THE WORST_!

Thanks for your continued support everyone! I have some good things lined up for future releases.
