Takes place of iTunes, amazing app
I personally love this app. For me, I use it instead of iTunes and Apple Music. I love discovering new music, especially based on a song I love, which is basically what Pandora does. There are so many different situations that Pandora comes in handy in my house, and I'm so happy I got this app. It's just like the radio, but it's your radio. There's very little ads, and you can have multiple stations. I chose Pandora over iHeartRadio because you create the stations. I personally don't like the radio stations today because the music played on those stations are controlled by other people NOT with your music taste. That's what iHeartRadio plays most of the time. Pandora is unique, if you thumbs up a song it plays more like it. If you thumbs down a song, it won't play it again. Plus, Pandora works better on my phone than iHeartRadio does. On iHeartRadio, if you thumbs down a song it just keeps playing, and on iTunes you can only skip songs, and the song will soon play again. If your looking for today's radio, I would look towards iHeartRadio. If you don't want to download an app, and don't mind what music you listen to within a station, then I would stick with iTunes. But if your like me, and you like a variety of songs that plays a radio based on a song or songs you love only, I would go towards Pandora. This app is unique, and a big part in my music life.
Pandora has never once let me down. There are quite a few great things that the app has that increases the listener's experience. For instance, if a song won't load, Pandora will automatically skip the song. Another thing I love is that it plays the music you have thumbed-up but every once and a while will drop in a new song. This is great for expanding your musical horizon. The last great thing is the amount of channels. Any kind of music you want, and Pandora will play it. Although the artist thing is a little wonky. If you type in: Imagine Dragons, it might play a few songs by them then play a One Republic song. I am not sure if this is that "one different song" thing I was talking about but it is still just slightly annoying. I have also tried searching a song, it play the song once then never played it again. So that doesn't work but over all is a very "user's way is the right way" type app. Great for just chilling, playing video games, riding in the car, or for a party. (Pandora One is recommended for a party to get rid of ads though.)
Pandora is mandatory.
ive been using pandora for almost 10 years; across a multitude of devices and operating systems from mobile to home entertainment. i have never once been dissatisfied with any aspect of the service. the "music genome project" has always, in my opinion, been exceptionally comprehensive and ever-relevantant, with continuous development and upgrades. equally as important is the interfaces, which varies across devices. again, i have always found navigation of pandora both simple and functional. creation and customization of unique stations uses a concise feedback system which is effective at fine-tuning to your tastes as well the ability add variety. overall, my go-to music app for access to endless libraries of music, automatically compiled into satisfying mixes - playable for hours!
