Could be better, but still better than iOS 9's attempt

I think most people will agree that iOS 9's features include some direct shots at Google. Like the ability for 'content blockers' which is a nice way of saying that Apple is allowing people to block Google's ads. It also released a new universal search feature when swiping down on the home screen and incremental improvements to Siri that is supposed to compete against and deter users from Google Now. Also that new page that recommends stuff to you, like Google Now, if you swipe left of your home screen. Also the "Hey Siri," feature is another move to compete against "OK Google." However I believe that Google is a far better software designing company and Google Now is leaps and bounds better than iOS's iteration. This app is better, and it utilzes the best search engine. It remembers you a lot better, because Google takes advantage of user tracking, cookies and what not, and Apple is against that. I think Apple is working with one arm tied around their back and is clearly showing their lack of ability to create new and innovative software (apps). I like iOS in many ways but there are several key drawbacks and this Google App solves a lot of those drawbacks for me... Thanks Google for making this app for iOS. Btw, people need to stop flipping out over this icon. I think it's great and will soon create it's own

A good, concise browser

I was quite surprised when I saw that Google had made their own app, but this is definitely quite an interesting browser. I went in expecting a lot of things to keep track of, and an overall complicated interface, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how concise and to the point it was. Right off the bat you are brought to the search bar, where you can type in keywords or a URL, which is very helpful if you are trying to get an answer or do something quickly. I know for me, I never really use the extra features found in safari, but rather just search quick questions or locations, which I feel his app is more suited for.

All in all, a good app, and really useful for those who only use browsers on their phone for questions, locations, or any other quick searches.

I absolutely loved the Google icon. That white "G" with the light blue in the background. Now, it's some rainbow "G" with a white background. It looks like some older version of the logo that the you all threw away at the drawing board. Then, you ran out of ideas so you found this one in the trash and went with it. I would've like a new logo with a new charm to it. The last one had a humble charm. This one is trying to be appealing, but fails. Everything is great with the app, just the logo gives me a headache every time I see it. Next time, your first thought when designing a new logo should be,"We better not". But since you didn't,make a better logo. I know this comment won't make a difference or change anything. I'm not mad, but you guys could've made a better choice.
