This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Simplenote is an easy way to keep notes, lists, ideas and more. Your notes stay in sync with all your devices for free. Share notes with other users to collaborate on a project together or to access the same list.
The Simplenote experience is all about speed and efficiency. Open it, write some thoughts, and you’re done. As your collection of notes grows, you can search them instantly and keep them organized with tags and pins. Work with other people on the same note by sharing it and publish notes to the web for other people to see.
The best way to learn about Simplenote is to try it. You'll be asked to create an account. This allows your notes to be backed up online and synchronized automatically.
After you sign up, try creating some notes! Then go to simplenote.com to download Simplenote for your other devices.

Simplenote is Simply Seamless
Simplenote does everything I expect from an app like this with no sync issues at all. It is device agnostic which means I can't access the content where ever I am. The fact that it operates in basic text means this app and the content in it is future proof. I keep a lot of book lists in the app and the search feature is brilliant.
It is, it has been for years, my go-to app for saving notes.
Why It's Better
Sometimes simple is better. While I also use Evernote, Awesome Notes, and occasionally Apple Note, this is the one I go to most for daily use. One of the biggest advantages of Simplenote that Apple has yet to incorporate into their Note app is the ability to do a word search. Simplenote finds every iteration of the word you are searching for, unlike Apple Note which only finds the document the word is located in.
5 our of 5, with a few suggestions
Best app for note taking on iPhone and iPad. Few suggestions:
* Turn Dropbox sync back on please. You already permit note sharing, I’d like to do it in bulk.
* You support markdownify - can you create a simple way to link between notes?
* Would be helpful to have note folders as an additional way to categorize notes in addition to tags
