What's New in Version 7.5.2
General improvements and bug fixes.
Please grow up
I've just had it.
I don't understand this obsession with Touch ID and rating the app with 1 or 2 stars because, yet again, they didn't give someone the immediate satisfaction of signing on milliseconds before you can with other methods.
Grow up you narcissistic, OCD, Demanding instant gratification, dictatorial whiners.
Touch ID is not all it is cracked up to be right now and for real security you should have a multi layered approach (which would take longer), but I suspect for most people it's the instant access they want.
There are plenty of things to complain about with USAA, since they have dramatically changed their banking model and are no longer the member focused company (with MUCH better than average interest rates) they were 10 years ago.
I am stunned at how often I can get better deals when I price check things with local brick and mortar banks (mostly C. U.'s), something I stumbled on several years ago - and where before, nobody could touch USAA service or offerings (deposit rates, insurance, mortgages, etc.,).
But the app? It is a "5" and not having Touch ID yet is no big deal. If there are bugs or glitches of course they need to know this. If you want Touch ID, fine, but lots of bank apps don't have it. Tell USAA if you want it (I'm pretty sure they know!!), but lose the drama. Your life isn't going to end even if you have to wait another year.
I would have expected a much more professionally-designed and developed app than this tripe. I've signed in COUNTLESS times and configured the "Quick Logon" feature (because, at my age, I don't remember all the mandatory-requirement 128 alpha-numeric character logins that so many sites demand now), and STILL the app demands I enter my login ID and password.
As if that's not frustrating enough, when I go to the incredible hassle of FINDING my login/password and entering it (so I can set up Quick Login yet AGAIN), I discover that my USAA account information doesn't even show up! "Some of your account information is unavailable at this time."
If this is how they manage their app development, how can I sleep at night trusting them with my finances?
You need to get your act together and develop a QUALITY app instead of letting some $10/hr teenager with a 1998 eMachine throw an interface together for you.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP. It is absolutely useless. Even as a free download, you're paying too much. Consider this app GONE from all my mobile devices!!!!
Good - needs Improvement
Love Mobile Banking. USAA was one of, if not the first to integrate Mobile Deposits and I have used for years without any problems. I do hold onto large checks for a few weeks after deposits, just in case, but have never had a Problem.
BIOMETRICS is a bust on my iPhone 5 and iPad 4, and not sure why. It works great on my son's iPhone 6, but not my 5.
GREAT COMPANY but still needs improvement: home insurance high, no rural coverage, no 2 home discount, but CAR Insurance is TOP NOTCH!!
