I love USAA
With that said, I’ll also declare that I’ve had several banking services providers over the years and none come CLOSE to USAA in any conceivable way. They are ALWAYS at the forefront of technology-even while others are just figuring out how to make “online banking work”, USAA has long ago integrated facial recognition, digital deposit, and more. This review reflects ONLY on how the iPhone app and the Apple Watch app interact (or rather, refuse to work together!) with each other. When I got the watch, no USAA info would pull up on the watch. After speaking with tech support, I was able to uninstall and reinstall the app and then get my accounts to pull up on the watch. However, one day later, I’m trying to log into my phone app and it has me recertifying Touch ID and accepting the legal jargon. Once that logs in, I go to the watch app and it’s back to how it was-the logo comes up and the circle spins around saying “loading accounts”, but nothing happens. I did some Google research and found others asking about the same problem through the USAA forums. Something about the Touch ID and login on the iPhone prevents the Apple Watch from displaying account data...can we get a technical expert to look into this please?
The app itself is ok, I really don’t care about the app. My review is about their customer service. By far this has been the worst! THE WORST! customer service I’ve ever had! It is Dec 23, 2017 and yet they cannot resolve my problem with my account SINCE Oct 2, 2017 . For unknown reasons , no warning at all! they blocked my access to my account. Since October I have not been able to use any of my funds in my account,or anything at all. I have called every other day since October and all they do is transfer me from one office to another. I’ve had to send in many, many countless documents for they can VERIFY my identity. It went from trying to unblock my account to verifying my identity. Nothing has been verified! After countless documents , phone calls , emails! They cannot verify my documents to confirm my identity. I’ve had enough of this! I will continue to call and try to get this resolved. But the moment I have access again I will be DONE with usaa for good. They are just the worst! I would imagine being military they would treat us with respect and in a timely manner . But now I know that they don’t care. USAA deserves ZERO stars.
Total loss/ Car Accident
I have USAA Auto/ Home Insurance
I Unfortunately was involved in Car accident one week before Christmas. I was so shaken up and very emotional, I call Claims and had the pleasure of speaking with Chris Lehmann, from beginning to end Chris was not only Professional, but extremely understanding to my needs and emotions. This was my first time putting in a claim and I was a basket case to say the least.
Chris went above and beyond to make this process as painless as possible, I literally called him about everything , always called back promptly and was always upbeat, understanding, helpful and never made feel like a nuisance. I just want Chris to know how very grateful I am for his help and understanding.
I also had the pleasure dealing with another USAA employee in total loss department. Amanda Carrejo
Who gave me her attention & time to resolve and get payment to Honda ASAP. Amanda kept me on phone until she completed all that needed to be, so I could relax and start looking for a car. Amanda was Professional, Curious, friendly and most importantly understanding to my state of mind.
I would HIGHLY Recommend USAA
