Good fun without blood and gore!
If you crave mind-warping, stressful games with over-the-top graphics that will rival PS3, this isn't that game. What it does is provide that simple break during those stress-filled, mind melting corporate meetings or test-cramming sessions. Yes, it will allow you to compare yourself with other alpha-types because it counts the number of loads you deliver. And there are a couple of interfering problems other than just the escalating number of boats for you folks that crave third-party intervention in the form of a storm or a cannon.
I've asked my son if his company was ever going to do something like this and have been told "not likely." So the big 3 don't see it my way and continue their love-affair with the bang-bang shoot 'em ups. I've played it numerous times and it continues to be fun.
Now, how about someone creating a boat racing app along the idea of the Olympics events, Whitbread, and America's Cup races. It could offer multi-player racing or single player against a computer-generated foe (America's Cup is one-on-one while the others depend on venue).
Work Needed, But Still Very Good
This application has very few bugs and is very straight forward. There are many "harbor" or levels which you can lead your boats and unload the cargo. On Harbor Master HD there are many maps that you have to buy. The maps are also different on Harbor Master HD why not put those maps on the iPod/ iPhone versions or have them available for purchase. Also there should be a multiplayer mode, where a player as myself could play another player to see who could last the longest without crashing over bluetooth, local wifi, or online. there could also be ranks so that a new multiplayer does not have to verse a experienced one. These are some interactive asides that would make the game more interesting and appealing to buyers of your game. Please take these suggestions into consideration, thank you.
Lot of fun, but a little unforgiving for ships that sneak up on edge of the screen just as your ship is exiting. Maybe make the the arrow get bigger as the outside ship approaches turning red at the last millisecond.
It would also be nice to see how many "crash undos" you have and how far you are to earning another on the main screen. Currently the only way you can check is by actually crashing.
Not to be negative, it really is one of my favorite games and one that should have a permanent home on my phone. If these changes can be implemented I'd bump up to 5 stars. ;)
