Description

We thought that it would be great to create an app, which can help thousands of people who rely on visual and auditory supports to do their common tasks easily.
We started to collaborate with Dr.Toni Van Laarhoven - an associate professor at Northern Illinois University. Years of her experience with working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities helped us to create a great new application.

The user can create tasks associated with a picture, text, video or audio or any combination of these media to create multi-feature tasks. The user receives an alert (visual and auditory display) when a task is scheduled to be performed. The user can swipe to delete a task after completing it, and then the next task moves to the top of his/her "To do" list. The app will keep reminding the user at various times of the day if a task is left undone.

App supports tasks & folders sharing so you can prepare the lists on your device and copy them to the target devices.

You can find more information about using app by people with cognitive or memory disabilities in the support link.

Great for persons with cognitive impairments

I am using this application to create "To Do" lists for someone with a cognitive impairment. Everything works as described in your tutorial with one exception. When I try to add the eight note to the list, the audio on some of the previously entered notes gets messed up (in other words the audio that plays for a note is from some other note).

Also, it wasn't intuitive that you select "RestoreLists" to get to the "List of lists". I am guessing this is what confused the other reviewer. When the app first opens, you should take the user to a "Library of Lists". From there allow them to change lists, play lists or add a new list.

One more thing - why does each note in the list include the timestamp when the note was created? This just clutters up the screen for someone with a cognitive impairement.

New Update is Awesome!

When I first bought this app, it worked great. However with OS updates and such, it really did not work well at all. However the new app updates have been awesome!! This app is our go to app for our autistic students. It is so easy to use and I use this one over another fifty dollar scheduler that we have!

Nice job with the updates!

Mom2Case

Too many bugs, not organized well.

Was hoping to use this for my cognitively impaired son but it still has too many bugs to even use. When going down a list, it often plays the audio of another picture. When creating notes, it sometimes does not let you adds audio or it crashes. It is not set up in an intuitive user friendly way at all. There is no way this is useful for my son in it's current development state.
