*Due to contractual limitations with certain content, especially
play-by-play broadcasts, there are times when the schedule that's on-air
won't match the schedule that's online. While we make every effort to update
the schedule, occasionally the nature of play-by-play broadcasting limits
our ability to accurately present the latest schedule (ie., rain delays,
last minute schedule changes). We apologize for any inconvenience this
causes. If you have specific schedule questions, please contact the station

Excellent Concept, One Major Flaw
This is a great app, with great variety--but with one ridiculous failing: it constantly shuts itself off.
You search for a podcast, find it, download it, and listen to it. Then you browse the web. No problem, it still works great. Then somebody calls. The app stops playing. You answer the phone, finish your call and hang up. You'd like to get back to your podcast but the app has shut down. So you have to log back in, search for the podcast, and start playing again. Sometimes you have to re-download the same podcast! Somebody calls you again. You have to do the same dance over again: re-open, re-search, re-download, re-play. You accidentally click on a video on a website. You have to do the same dance over again. You hit pause and lock your phone. You have to do the same dance again!
These designers need to fix this. This is terribly annoying, and dangerous if you like to listen to podcasts while you're driving. Every stoppage in playing a podcast should not result in the app completely shutting down! If somebody calls, you shouldn't have to CONSTANTLY log back on, search again for the podcast you were listening to SECONDS ago, re-download it again and play it again, after EACH call! This is a MASSIVE design flaw which ruins an otherwise fantastic app. If only for safety reasons (use while driving) they need to fix this problem. 5 stars if they fix this, 2 stars until they do.
If this wasn't espn no one would use it. It's that terrible!
The only redeeming quality of this app is it gives you access to "all" the espn radio content.
Unfortunately there are shows like the Dan Lebetard show that force the app to quit without fail.
They give you the ability to download shows and then listen on your own time, but the shows are broken down into hour long blocks, which wouldn't be a problem if there was a method of organization...but there is not. So after hour 1 of a show plays you are left to have to find all the other parts of your show. As long as you only listen to one show per day it's only mildly inconvenient, but if you download multiple shows spanning multiple days then it makes it so frustration having to manually look for the next hour of your show. I loved this app initially because I love the content but this extra hassle has made this an app I used to listen to for hours everyday to an app I haven't used in nearly a month and I don't miss it.
And probably the most annoying thing is if you send in feedback on the poor quality of the app the response you get back is that it's either your fault or your phones fault.
Less and less content available
I am an avid listener of many ESPN radio shows/podcasts, my most regular being Mike and Mike. I loved when the app first came out a long time ago and you could listen to the entire show uninterrupted in podcast form. For someone like me that has an unusual work schedule it allows me to conveniently listen to my favorite shows at my own pace and time. Then not long ago they started breaking up the show into hourly segments, not that big a deal just a little more effort required on my end to manually cycle through since the hours don't go in order (I have seen others voice this issue as well). Now just recently I have started seeing about half of each hour is available in podcast form, between 17-18 minutes of actual content. Why is the amount of the show made available in the app being restricted?!?! It's becoming more and more difficult for your most regular listeners to do just that. Very disappointed and I'm hoping this is a temporary change and that it will go back to the full show being available.
