*Due to contractual limitations with certain content, especially
play-by-play broadcasts, there are times when the schedule that's on-air
won't match the schedule that's online. While we make every effort to update
the schedule, occasionally the nature of play-by-play broadcasting limits
our ability to accurately present the latest schedule (ie., rain delays,
last minute schedule changes). We apologize for any inconvenience this
causes. If you have specific schedule questions, please contact the station
directly by visiting their website.

Functional to Dysfunctional...

...in One Disingenuous Update. The "bug fixes" update did only one thing: disable pause and seeking. I see your thinking here, ESPN. I am going to listen non-stop to the onslaught of "Have you tried Five Hour Energy lately" ads and repetitious updates to hear a shorter amount of sports talk. But you out thought yourself on this one, boys. I can't listen continuously, even if I wanted to. Why? I only listen to sports talk at work, and it must be piecemeal by necessity. However... without the ability to pause then resume where I left off, it's impossible to catch entire segment or guest. I pass, ESPN. The old app (with three hour rewind capability on MacBook!) was the reason why I started listening to ESPN some at work. Going to only one hour rewind on iPhone was a bad move for my listening restrictions, but total disabling is a deal breaker. And it's too bad since I like the ESPN afternoon lineup Rusillo and LeBatard.

UPDATE: one-hour rewind feature still works on MacBook with Firefox...for now. Probably only a short time until the suits disable that feature and chase away more listeners.

UPDATE 2: class act Mothership. Censor negative reviews of longterm loyal listeners who critic the removal of seeking.

Sound still cuts in and out

I'm not going to change the review I already wrote because the problem is the same...used the app for about a half hour after the 8/11 bug fix and it started skipping. So close to full functionality! I use this app for four to five hours Monday through Friday and just let it play so disabling the functions others have mentioned doesn't affect me personally but that sounds like a feature you should have re-thought removing. I still cannot use the app because of the sound cutting in and out the entire time. It's like listening to a skipping record. Back to listening to news out of Portland Oregon even though I'm in New York.

Dissapointed

App did not get better, it got worse. App still disconnects when your phone goes into lock screen. Was very distraught when seeking was disabled. While I know this was for advertising purposes, it was one of the best features of this app. This was one of the holy grail apps on my phone and now I'd rather go to my car and listen to Sirius than waste my data. ESPN what are you doing? Please listen to use and at least bring back some ability to skip back. (Even if we have to listen to ads, skipping back is still nice)
