Be careful...don't let them waste your time
Although this app has a nice user interface and works well, be careful in regard to the price they show they sell the product for vs. what they REALLY sell the product for in the very store that this app sends you to.
Example: Brand name coffee brewer advertised on their app @ $137, however when I get to the store the price is $22 higher and a Wal-Mart employee tells me that a completely separate company does their online sales through this app. Really?? So, the WAL-MART app with same name & logo as the name and logo on the storefront that the same app sent me to is a "totally" different company.
That's inexcusably poor policy on Wal-Mart's part. In the end, their app took me to two of their stores and I am picking up the same product for considerably less elsewhere. It's unfortunate that these two companies that work incognito under the same name don't work together on something as simple as price.
App looks decent, the List to Basket and back again feature wasn't very intuitive to me and took some fiddling around to understand.
I completely don't understand how to access the Scan'N'Go feature though my store is listed as a participant and I activated the app inside the store!
feedback on Site To Store process: needs serious improvement. "in stock" items are removed from your Cart after trying to purchase but the store doesn't actually have said item. excessive amounts of paper and stickers attached to each purchased item when picked up, which is wasteful. disappointing process.
Works fine but time consuming
So had the chance to use the app inside the store on several occasions and here's my review: It's works and prices where accurate. Using shopping list and adding things to your cart is time consuming because you have to wait for items to go thru a loading process and this depends on how good your internet connection is. I did encounter no signal zones near back of store and scanning items was a no go until signal returned. Overall I found it useful even though it did slow me down.
