Customer Reviews

Not sure why this has such low ratings, I have no problems with it. Simple to use, and I prefer to use the mobile app version of RedBox to browse and reserve movies than using the desktop version since I'm on my phone a lot. I love how easy it is to watch a trailer as well to see if it's worth it to rent a certain movie. To those saying you should be able to browse multiple locations at once doesn't make sense to me. From a UI/UX standpoint, it seems easiest to browse one kiosk/location at a time (and it even tells you at the bottom of the screen when you're browsing to let you know which place you're looking at) to see which movies are available at that certain kiosk/location. Once you choose a movie and move to the checkout page, it lets you know where you would be picking up the movie. One thing that would be nice to add would be the option to leave a review, it seems that's not a feature on the app, you can only read them.

good just Needs a few things

Seems fine but it needs to allow users to select multiple locations.

Needs to allow account access without a timeout (re-login) (save password)

Needs to allow people to rate movies. Instead of whatever system is in place. Via the app (current update supposedly does this but i havent seen the feature in transactions or in the movie description)

I just got the app today and thought I'd try it out since it's suppose to be fast and convenient. I looked for the movie I wanted on the redbox closest to me and reserved and paid for the movie. As soon as I got there I went to the pick up option and the reader wouldn't take my card😡 so I thought the machine was broken but then I double checked and the movie I reserved was literally no where to be found. Complete waste of money and time. Don't get this app unless you're a fan of losing cash.
