VNC Viewer - Remote Desktop
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
VNC® Viewer from RealVNC® gives you instant remote access to your Mac, Windows and Linux computers from anywhere in the world. You can view your computer's desktop, and control its mouse and keyboard as though you were sitting down in front of it.
Just visit www.realvnc.com and download VNC Connect to each computer you want to control. Then sign in to VNC Viewer on your device using your RealVNC account credentials. You'll see your computers automatically appear; simply tap to connect.
VNC Connect password-protects each computer out-of-the-box. You may need to enter the same user name and password you use to log in to your computer. All sessions are then encrypted end-to-end.
During a session, your device's touch screen serves as a trackpad to give you precise control. Drag your finger to move the remote mouse cursor and tap anywhere to left-click (other gestures such as right-click and scroll are explained in-app).
As the original inventors of VNC remote access technology, we're confident you'll love what VNC Viewer has to offer. If you're still not convinced, check out our reviews!

What's New in Version 3.3.1
FIXED: We've made some tweaks to make it more likely that Apple Remote Desktop will recognize your Shift key press.
If it's still not working for you, please let us know.
Solid and reliable. Run your desktop computer (Windows or Mac) from your iPad or iPhone.
I use this app all the time and love it. It's like running Windows or MacOS on your mobile device. Because you're accessing your computer through a network rather than sitting in front of it, there is some lag time, but that's completely understandable.
The way that you access all the special keys from a full keyboard is executed almost flawlessly.
If you want to access your computer from an outside network, like over an LTE connection you'll need to open up and forward some ports on you home or office router or preferably use a VPN as I do. For security I'd highly recommend that you use a VPN. Once properly configured, you'll be able connect to and control your personal computers from anywhere in the world over any network.
This is probably the best VNC app out there and I've tried several. I highly recommend that you buy it.
There was an error in the last version that caused som logon issues with macOS, but the have been fix now and everything is working properly.
Great Switch from LogMeIn
After LogMeIn has astronomically increased their pricing over the past several years, I finally made the switch to VNC. Should have done this sooner. LogMeIn also tried to refute my cancellation and refuse a refund, but all eventually went well.
I must have been insane to keep using Logmein
Dunno.... When Logmein started costing money, I feel like this option wasn't available. I could be wrong. But at any rate, highest quality app and service....
