If you like Windows Solitaire, you're going to love this app!

The same classic Windows Solitaire game plus the ability to control card movements naturally by just swiping or tapping the cards on your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad.

We've always strived to stay true to the classic game of Solitaire (also known as Klondike, the most popular version of Solitaire), and now we've added an ALL NEW Daily Challenge Feature. Each day you’ll receive a unique Daily Challenge. Solve the Daily Challenge and receive a crown for that day. Earn trophies each month by winning more crowns!

Play the classic game you love all by yourself or you can also compete against other players in real-time. Our Solitaire can deal the same hand to multiple players so they can compete against each other at the same time. You can have your choice of challenging your friends or be matched up against a completely random player. Exciting!

As one of our users proudly states, "I never thought I'd say Solitaire makes for a fun social game, but the latest version is pretty impressive and knowing that I'm competing against others has changed the motivation to play completely."

Haven't won a deal in a while? Winning Deals are now available. You can configure the game so that we deal you hands that are guaranteed to have at least one winning solution. Still can't figure out how to win? The "Show Me How To Win" feature is there to help walk you through the moves required to win the deal.

Think you have the best Solitaire score around? With Apple's Game Center enabled, you can check the Game Center leaderboards to see how your Solitaire skills stack up against players all around the world!

Honored by Apple in their 2010 Rewind List, MobilityWare's Solitaire supports drag-and-drop and Tap-To-Move card movements, both portrait and landscape modes, and your game is saved when you get a call or other interruption - features not all iPhone/iPod touch/iPad apps support.

Can be challenging at times

I really enjoy playing this game. I learned it when I was a little boy with real cards you had to shuffle and deal after each game. Imagine that. My mom taught me and we would play double sol on the floor as she called it. I play the Vegas version of this game as it can be a little easier to win but does have some challenging games. The Daily Challenge is fun as I usually save them for a week and play as I ride the train into and from work. It's relaxing for both trips. There are some really simple games and then there are the one or two that really stump you and you have to find ways to beat it. Of course that means playing the same challenge over and over till you find that way. Sometimes that means making some very highly unorthodox moves you wouldn't normally make. I just finally completed one that took about 50 different attempts but finally figured it out. I always love a good challenge and I don't give up easily. Thanks for the challenge.

Starts Good, Gets Worse

This would be a fine game if it was always the way it was when you first started playing. The ads get more and more frequent until there's an ad before each game. And the games get harder and harder. They're not "random" as the game says they are. For instance, you move a card and frequently —more frequently than would be the case if the game were really random—the card underneath is the same rank. For example, move a five of spades and the card underneath is a five of hearts. This kind of thing, and other tricks like it on the part of the developers, can make the hand unwinnable. And so the percentage of unwinnable hands is much higher than chance alone would dictate. Why would the developers do this? Because a winnable hand takes longer to play. And that means more time between ads. And that means less money for the developers. So here's the gist of this review: the developers are being dishonest in order to make more money, and the game is not as much fun because of it. I chalk this up to the developers probably not being raised right and having bad parents. Shame on them and their parents.

Too many repeated games but much fun

I play this almost every day. I'm on here more than the slot games some days and I love slots. However, I do not like repeated games. I want a challenge. I'm not competing against myself so I don't care if I did better the second or the eighth time. If one time I beat the world with time or score or moves, great. But please stop with the repeats. They're getting boring. Or at least spread them over a month, not days. Also, when Game Center says welcome back, it blocks the cards and eats up time. And I play in portrait mode so sometimes I hit the deck instead of the card and have to redo but since it only costs me a few points I'm ok with that. And I LOVE the creativity of the wins announcements. I look forward to each one to see how you can manipulate the decks into various displays. I'd give it 5 stars if there were less repeats. Aside from that, it's fun! Yellow labs are great! Thanks for that picture. I have a yellow labby! (Peace, Love & Happy!)
