Update is not good if using for TTC/fertility charting
This app used to be amazing- easy to use and very intuitive. It was excellent for fertility charting when TTC. But now the new updates have made this app not even worth using. Download "fertility friend" app instead if you are trying to get pregnant. It is not as sleek and easy to use as this apps last version, but it has much better features now that this one changed vital components.
Changes for the worse:
1. the home screen used to have your cycle day, now it says "safe period" which the response back from the company on what that means is that "it's safe to have sex without protection"... Really, that's what you think most women want to see at a glance?? Shouldn't there at least be an option since some women use it to track and make sure they aren't pregnant but many use it to try to get pregnant?
2. The bbt graph changed and now it is impossible to see the very small dips and spikes which is vital to tracking ovulation.
Not happy with the new look
I really liked this app before the last update. It was simple and functional. It did everything I needed it to without a bunch of extra stuff that I don't care about.
The new home page is hard to read. The new calendar format is also hard to read or to get meaningful information at a glance. I much preferred the colored boxes to the lines that now denote the days of my period or fertile days. I also miss the diary view that only listed out the days that anything had been entered and you could easily scroll through all of your notes.
I do like that I can now see my notes right on the calendar page. I also like the new events option, even though most of them are useless--why is there no doctor appointment event, but I can mark that I did karaoke? It makes no sense.
Love the new look!
People are always going to be unsatisfied with something. I love it, it looks more for women and not kids. It is easy to go through all your data, now you can read your notes the day you wrote them in the calendar without having to go to the diary. I've been using it for more than 3 years and I love it!!! Very helpful and useful. It helps me keeping track of my symptoms and cycles. I'm irregular and with this app I've been able to keep track of it and also send the information to my gyn when its needed! Thank you!
