Good, but I won't be using it anymore.
I'm not going to stretch this review on as long as I normally do because I need sleep. Ой. I'll get straight to the point.
Okay, so in order to play the music I actually wanted, I had to pay the monthly subscription, which I was suspecting from such a well-reviewed product, as most big-time apps do, but it's not bad. It's only ten American dollars a month.
Now, not all of the music is high quality. You get some good ones, but also some bad ones. Either it's fuzzy, muddy, bass-smothered, or it's just fine. Most Apple users here think EarPods are actually good, so they won't notice the difference because they're normal, unlike me, and don't really care about the quality. If you care about your quality, more than likely you'll want a FLAC player or something other than this (Like going MP3 hunting on your own).
The library is ENORMOUS. There was not a single song I couldn't find. Very good library.
I'll be honest, it feels just a tiny bit rushed, but it's really not bad. I love how the old iOS keyboard is back. The UI is quick, simple, and innovative, but graphically speaking, it feels a little rushed. Not bad, though.
IN THE END...
I think it's a good app, but it all depends on what you prefer. It's not exactly my cup of tea, but being as a completely unbiased as I can, I think it is a very good app. Just depends on what you want.
Best music subscription available
I am an audiophile, and I spent a little time researching the best sounding streaming music subscription, and the one with the largest most complete catalog to have music available on the go, and discover new music.
The answer to both questions was the same. MOG has ALL music available in the highest quality mp3 (320 bit rate). When I checked, Spottily has a much lower bit rate for most music, and no one else can make that claim. And It is even higher quality than iTunes, which is 256 bit rate.
The music catalog was also the most complete I found. Also it's mobile app has been a pleasure to use for the last two months. The ability to download 320 bit rate mp3 for off line use is fantastic. And the editor's picks and personalized suggestions have lead me to new and cool music.
Mog - The Best
Mog is the greatest! Get it, use it (there's a lot to learn). You'll love it.
I've tried every music streaming app, every music player, every radio app and Mog is clearly the best. Download for offline playback is very useful - and stores alphabetically. Separate section for your playlists, and you can adopt playlists others have made. The features go on and on. When your selected album ends Mog automatically plays similar songs that fit your tastes / genre. Mog functions like radio (but no commercials), functions like your iPod with downloads, you can set up playlists or listen to playlists of others, and it has a Just-for-You section that makes great recommendations. Trust me, Mog is the greatest!
Get Mog now! Spend some time learning all it can do. It does everything, and does it better than the others.
