Great Game, can be improved
I would like to start out by saying that I used to be in love with this game a few years ago and would play all the time. I then purchased a console, and did not play this game for 3-4 years maybe. I downloaded it again a few days ago was surprised by how good it was for an old mobile game. I did notice several problems with the game, mainly the graphics which are pretty awful (this comes from someone who has played Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefield 1, both by DICE which have incredible graphics, so I may be a little biased). The skins for the dinosaurs look good as a base, and with less pixelation would look amazing. Also, the feel of killing those powerful dinosaurs(mainly the T-rex) is great and you feel really good after killing one. Besides the graphics, there are some issues with the game, and I believe the concept of the T-rex needs to be reworked or changed. I can easily re-locate myself directly on top of a T-rex and shoot it in the eye with a pistol while it does the smelling/tracking animation. This needs to be fixed as it makes taking down what should be the 'most powerful' dinosaur in the game the easiest. Also, I believe dinosaurs should be much faster in the water, as I can easily relocate to a large body of water and shoot down carnivores that I attract using the call/dinosaur noise which I find extremely creative. Overall, great game, really fun and creative.
Little glitch & suggestion
So, I've owned this game for a few years now and I've always enjoyed it very much. I stopped playing it a while back but recently went back to it thanks to a YouTuber who's currently doing a Let's Play on it. I noticed that when he got the death screen for the Coelophysis (wrote that wrong, I'm sure of it), it'd kill him a few feet away compared to other carnivores who basically go through your character and THEN kill you. This happened to him every time so I decided to test it out myself and it does in fact happen, no just with the Coelo but it also happened with the Carnotaurus. Every other carnivore had to physically touch you in order to kill you while those two were like 5 feet away from ya and killed ya. If it wasn't for that glitch, you could get another shot in and MAYBE get out of there alive.
Other than that, everything seems to be normal. The update the graphics got is fantastic but because of it it's making the older Dino models look worse than before so maybe you guys can give the older models some love and make them look better in a future update? Because you can definitely tell the old ones apart from the new ones just by looking at them. The only reason I'm really ranting about this is I love this game to bits and wish it got more attention than its gotten.
GREAT game.. GREAT update!
Been playing this game for years and the last update has me pleasantly surprised! Love the updated graphics and the more historically accurate portrayal of some of the dinosaurs (spinosaurus size was fixed- could also modify appearance just a little). That being said, there are a few things you could do to improve it even more: 1) T-Rex seems to have been downgraded in size a bit- I kinda liked it being really big. It really was quite similar in size to spinosaurus; it was just a hair smaller. All in all, the Dino sizes could be modified a little here and there (bigger triceratops, smaller velociraptor, bigger allosaurus, etc). 2) graphics has gotten way better, but they could go another step further yet I think! 3) bring on some new stuff- LOVE the new revolver! We could use a few more weapon options (compound bow would be AMAZING!) as well as some new Dinos! If you really want to make a splash, get some more gigantic sauropods to hunt like diplodocus or argentinosaurus. Another awesome predator could be gigantosaurus or albertosaurus. These are all just suggestions bc honestly I love this game and the last update itself was awesome! Keep up the good work!
