And you can instantly download them for free to your iPhone or iPad, to read at your leisure.
There's no hidden costs, no further payments... just unlimited access to 2 million of the best books you'll ever read.
People everywhere LOVE this app... here's what they had to say:
5-Stars - "Best reading app ever"
"I have several apps designed for reading books, and MegaReader is by far the best. Not only are there tons of free books available for download, the format is very easy to read and simple to operate.", by Unfortunate_Raccoon, United States, February 13, 2011
5-Stars - "Excellent and Flexible reading app
"This is easily the most flexible reading app I’ve seen. I have vision problems because of my age and reading is hard for me now and Megareader gives me more control than any other reading app I’ve seen.", by barryem, United States, October 2, 2010
Aside from giving you access to a bigger selection of books than ANY other reader on the planet, MegaReader is also super flexible.
For example, if you don't have perfect vision, you can make the fonts larger... all the way up to 42 point – and let's face it, even your grandmom could read it at that size.
Can't do that with a Kindle, can you?
Here's what else is in store:
• Over 2 million books available immediately, for you to read at no charge at all – no hidden costs or complications...
• Flexible: not only can you change the font size, but you can change just about everything else too – fonts, line spacing, colors, everything you can imagine
• Copy and paste text from your favorite webpages, through full integration with InstaPaper... read your favorite stuff anywhere, anytime, with zero effort
• Import your own books and EPUBs from the Calibre app – this lets you use MegaReader to read books from all kinds of sources (please note, MegaReader will not work with DRM protected books)
• Export books to iBooks and Kindle or e-mail them to yourself
And much, much more.
For example, did you know MegaReader was the first reader in the world to have a Head Up Display? Now you can see where you're going AND read at the same time – check out the photo below to see exactly what I mean.
And there are a ton of other benefits that make this the reader of choice for tens of thousands of people all over the world...
… for example have you ever wondered what your reading speed is?
Well, MegaReader can tell you – because it has a built in speed test – and once you do it, it'll be able to tell you exactly how long you'll take to read each book.
So look, let's be honest – you're getting all that AND 2 million books for less than two bucks.
That works out to just 0.0001 cents per book – for some of the greatest written works ever produced by the human race...
… don't you think that's worth less than the price of a coffee?
Of course it is, so hit the buy button now – you'll be glad you did.
What's New in Version 2.10.2
• Bug fixes.
Pagination error fixed, ok to use now
Still wish this one had a search feature, to make scrolling back & forth easier, or a way to say go to page/location x, for searching within a book for something you want to refer to but did not book mark at the time. It also makes reading on multiple devices very unpleasant: it’s not that some sort of complicated cloud-sync is needed, but a search/go to page/location feature is necessary for a modern e-reader.
(Pagination error was in prior version, 2.10, where it had problems skipping text intermittently if the font was set larger than system font on my iPhone).
I have been using this reader for a couple of years and it is very easy and pleasant to use. Enough features to customize it to my preferences without being overly complicated. I have it set up with a dark background and "eggplant" colored text so that I can read in bed at night without being overstimulated by too much light. I also use it as a shortcut to changing the light levels on my iPad, iPod, and iPhone when in other apps, as it takes one less step than using the devices' "settings ".
I tried making iBooks work for me, but it just didn't give me the ability to customize the line spacing and font size like I was used to with Stanza. I was hesitant because it wasn't free and there are still some aspects of the library organization that I don't love. But where it matters, how comfortable I am when reading my books, I can't really complain. I've been reading with this app for over two years. No reader better than it in the App Store currently.
