”Sleep Talk Recorder is a great iOS application that records exactly what you say while you’re fast asleep and dreaming … it works like a charm.”
”…not only is it useful, but entertaining as well. You will be shocked at what some people say under the guise of sleep!”
"Getting this app showed me that what I thought was occasional snoring was actually Severe sleep apnea. I was waking myself between 60-100 times a night, with loud snoring that sounded like something from a space alien…If I could give it 100 stars, I would."

Did you say something in your sleep last night? A lot of people did. 50% of kids between the ages of 3 and 10 carry on whole conversations during the night. As we grow older the figure goes down to about 5%. Some people talk occasionally, some every night.
Afraid of revealing secrets? Afraid of missing brilliant Da Vinci ideas you dream about? Or are you just looking for rock solid evidence that your partner snores?
Sleep Talk Recorder monitors your sleep, but it's not just an ongoing recording. An advanced filtering function qualifies sounds and triggers Sleep Talk Recorder technology in a millisecond.
In Sleep Talk Recorder you get it all. A sleek interface with individual settings for sensitivity and filtering. A history that saves your recordings and sorts them on a timeline, night by night, for easy navigation. You can also add your funniest clips to your favorites and share them with your friends or the world for great laughs!

I've been running this thing almost every night since I got a hold of it because it's so amazing what's going on in my sleep. I actually run this app side by side with the sleep cycle app, so I see when I'm getting deep sleep and comparing it with my sleep talking to understand a correlation... Pretty cool huh?
This thing really captures what you say and let's you listen back quite easily. I said some crazy stuff over the past 5 months. I haven't been talking much in my sleep these days... But to me that's a good sign! I've caught myself snoring consistently maybe once which is impressive, because I used to snore all the time, so my health is changing for the better apparently!
Oh, and what I've said in my sleep is nothing short of amazing, mostly personal things that aren't funny, BUT, incredibly relevant to my life. I needed an oil check, and yup, I said it in my sleep. There was a book I heard about a while back, and yep... I said the title in my sleep, then woke up, listened to me sleep talk about it, and after semi-freaking out because it was pretty meaningful to me, bought the book! (Calling in The One, book)
Thanks sleep talking app!
Sleep Talk.... AMAZING
I have never slept very well for almost a decade and never could figure out why… The doctors wanted to send me to a 24 hour sleep study but who can take the time off to do that?
So I downloaded sleep talk… And after about a week of using it I emailed my doctor the results from what sleep talk had found during my sleep and now we are on the road to recovery!
Sleep talk is a wonderful tool for physicians to determine your sleep patterns and what's going on that is interrupting your rest! I highly, highly recommend this App, To anyone who is having sleep problems or just want to know what's going on after you close your eyes
Fun and Helpful
This is what I listen to on my morning walk. Wow do I do some strange things in my sleep. I also do some things that caused me to alert my doctor to a return of my sleep apnea as well as a possible neurological condition. And the walking and crashing into walls? That explains some bruises and made me implement some safety measures.
My best recording was that of me singing a song that I made up in my dream. (I don't remember my dreams.) Because I don't remember my dreams, what my sleep talking reveals is a glimpse into what's going on up in my noggin while I'm asleep.
Thanks for making that possible.
