Grudgingly 3 Stars

The app does have some great information, but I don't like the way you post sightings. Not like some of the other Audubon apps. There is no pin to locate where you sighted. You can't upload a picture that you may have taken. If you accidentally post more than one sighting for the same thing, it says you can delete the extra sightings, but it doesn't actually do it. The more I write this review, the more I think 2 stars would be more appropriate, but I'm grudgingly giving 3.

Good birding app

It does cover more than the Southwest however, you are able to narrow the search to a specific state or province. You can narrow the search further by shape, color, size, habitat, sound etc. in the bird section. Birding is the main reason I got this app, so I'm happy. I can see how others might be disappointed because you can't narrow the search by state in all sections.

Audubon SW desert review

I have grown up with these books and even tho the take up a lot of room on your device it's nice to have access to the info when you have no access up Internet (which is usually the case when you're out in nature.)
