Customer Reviews

A few serious problems

I get the Post on my IPad because I read it on the Metro and it's more convenient, but not less expensive than getting it in paper form.

I have two major complaints. The first is that the car section is not in the paper I received in IPad form on Sundays. I love reading the car reviews but the entire car section is not there. The second complaint is that the Washington Post magazine has various pages that are landscape rather than portrait and getting them to the right size to read properly is practically impossible.

These should be easy to resolve I can't believe spending $15 a month that they have not been addressed yet.

Update to my entry yesterday

I would like to provide an update. If I select MyPost, the App still either freezes completely or takes several minutes to open. If and when MyPost does open and if I wait several minutes, a sidebar opens with my favorite blogs menu. If I wait longer, below that menu, not in a separate tab as before, are my saved articles. Perhaps, the update had to initialize MyPost. However, it is very slow, when and if it opens.

Regarding the Subscription Type issue, this appears to be an artifact of the download, since my subscription is still working today.

Let us hope that the good programmers at WP can fix our highly valued news source soon.

What a mess

The current update totally wrecked my Newsstand app. Can't integrate WashPost into the app and it doesn't show up anywhere. Plus the update messed up/slowed down or caused a crash on other apps. Took a whole day to update and wouldn't load. I'm deleting it and going back to my paper.
