ReBirth is back! Propellerhead Software's legendary Techno Micro Composer has been resurrected and customized for the iPad. ReBirth faithfully emulates dance music's three backbone devices: The Roland TB-303 Bass synth and the Roland TR-808 and 909 drum machines. Combine these with FX units, fully featured pattern sequencers and a gorgeous-looking interface and you're ready to make killer tracks on your iPad. Share your music with friends on Facebook, Twitter and more using the built in sharing features.
2 x TB-303 Bassline Synthesizer with pattern sequencer
The original Acid House and Techno bass synth. Unrivaled power, unmistakable sound.

It does what it says, you want to jam and create your own beats here it is.. Now if they would make reason for iPad would be unbelievable. Still me favorite.
Just a little Prayer
"Please God when I die, may I take this App to heaven with me?" I'm gonna need it up there fo sho.
An old favorite since the beginning.
Back in 1997, I was working with hardware and looking to buy more. Then a friend showed me a brochure for ReBirth. I was amazed at what I saw in the screen shots. Soft synths were in their infancy at the time, and I had to get onboard after reading how convincing this brochure was. Sure enough after building a PC and buying ReBirth, I was even more amazed to be sitting there with 2 303s and an 808 on a computer screen coming to life through my speakers. The 909 wasn't added until 2.0. But Peff made the Techno Box mod before then which had 909 samples loaded. Right around the time 2.0 was released, I bought the Keyfax Phatboy MIDI controller which had about 12 knobs and I was in heaven.
Fast forward to 2011 with a Mac Mini and Reason, ReBirth hasn't been touched since it resides on a PC in the other room. Once in a while I'd play around with it. But since I got an iPad 2 years ago, it's been nothing short of a reunion with ReBirth. All the fun is at my fingertips and I can take it anywhere with my iPad Mini 2. What a difference coming from a piece of software that was tethered to a large computer tower and CRT monitor almost 20 years ago. Times have changed and technology has advanced. But no matter how many top shelf music apps I have, it's still a lot of fun being able to use the software that started it all for me without having to fire up that dusty old PC. Thanks to Propellerhead for keeping ReBirth alive in 2016. Please add Ableton Link soon.
