Customer Reviews

I live by this app!

I have always made lists on paper for all the stuff I needed to do. Paper lists are very limiting, not always with you, and I was constantly rewriting them to clean up and reorder tasks. I am extremely busy and switch working between PC, Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Having my lists on all of them and in sync is a huge time saver. I have lists for Today, This Week, Soon, Someday, and To Get. I shuffle the tasks around as needed and the process has made me much more efficient. I get so much done now and never forget or worry about forgetting to do something. I add everything from the "must do" and "would like to do" to the "wish I could do" as well as ideas or things I want to research. I always have my phone with me so anything thing that pops into my head I can quickly add and forget. It frees my mind from having to keep remembering things I do not want to forget. I can also check and review my lists at anytime from anywhere. I would be lost without Wunderlist. It is by far my most used app of all time!

Wunder is an Enabler

Unfortunately, my memory retention skills have gone bye-bye thanks to the dependence on smart phones (I don't even have my long-term boyfriends' number memorized) which most likely will not change in the near future. Wunderlist makes it easy to quickly create folders and list subgroups to your specification likings. My guy and I have many lists linked together so we're both able to view, add, edit, check off, etc any list from "Future Home Projects" (and listed in a subgroup is items we will need for that project) to "3/23 grocery needs". If I need a specific item at the store and he needs a visual of it, I can upload a pic of it and add it to the item description.
I can see the items disappear off the list as he checks them off. It's nifty.
Good features. Easy to use.
Only reason it's missing a star is because it lags occasionally when syncing lists and you can't set reminder alarms for another person you share the list with.
Highly recommend 👊🏼

Best for Multiple Devices

I've been using Wunderlist for several months now. I have it installed on my iPhone, my iPad, my Windows 10 laptop at home, and the Windows 7 machine at work. Everything has stayed in sync. I love being able to capture tasks at any time on my phone and have them available when I sit down to work or to add an errand at work and pull it off my phone later.

I started using the Getting Things Done approach. I put each project in a list and grouped the lists with folders. I star the next step for each project.

I have routine tasks set up as sub tasks under a task for the day they should be done and have the tasks set to repeat weekly and monthly. Doing it this way keeps the routine tasks from creating clutter that obscures the others. Wunderlist displays the parent task with a color bar to indicate the percent complete.

As I've used the program, I've gravitated toward tracking next deliverables rather than next steps. The weekly (7 day) and daily views then become very useful. I can see at a glance what is coming up and what has to get done.

I only have one gripe. Many of my monthly tasks must be done on a particular day of the week and Wunderlist doesn't support recurrences like 2nd Monday yet. I get around this by using a monthly recurrence and changing the due date. The developers allow users to vote on suggested features and I have cast mine for this one.
